Edwardian Giltwood Mirror in the George II Taste
first quarter 20th century, the leaf-carved swan's-neck pediment set with a cartouche-form finial, the upper crossetted corners supporting drops of flower heads and fruit, the segmented lower edge carved with a shell flanked with acanthus leaves.

Condition
In fine condition. There is an old glued repair to the hanging leaf below the right rosette at the top.
There is a little glue residue remaining. Retains a beautiful gilt surface. The mirror plate has mild
distress to the silvering from age.
