SIX QIANLONG MARK SNUFF BOTTLES
Chinese, early to mid-20th century, polychrome enamel on copper. Including:
1. A Guangzhou school bottle with scrolling puce enamel neck above paintings of female figures, one with crane; blue four-character mark to underside; gilt stopper.
2. Mountainous landscape panel to a blue scrolling patterned ground bottle, matching stopper.
3. Lingzhi forms and scrollwork to yellow ground hosting a panel depicting female musicians; a four character blue Qianlong mark to underside, but later period; matching stopper.
4. A Beijing enameled bottle of Zhuanshu seal with flattened, ovate form having copper lip and foot rim and painted with a continuous scene of a seated scholar under palms and an upright female figure near a river's edge. The enameled underside almost flat to copper foot rim having a Qianlong reign mark in blue; a later faux pearl with collared stopper and spoon, labeled 70.
5. Moonflask form of yellow ground having a scalloped panel of mother with child and attendants; the underside with a Zhuanshu style seal mark. Carved and gilded bat and double Shou stopper.
6. A double-mouth bottle, the conjoined, ovoid bodies with conversing figures to each side, the red four-character mark written across the separate footing; matching, original stoppers with floral designs.
Each approximately 3 in. (7.62 cm.), with stopper: 3 1/4 in. (8.26 cm.); total 332 grams
