Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation. Beverly Hill, California. Mug in red tone Sumida pottery fabrication, circa Meiji period. Country of origin: Japan. Thismug has a multi-color drip glaze design in ebony, brown, and white. There is an applied pottery design of a female figure with a knapsack on a stick in her hand. There is an applied porcelain plaque on the right side that is signed inJapanese characters by the artist Ishiguro Koko. This mug measures 5 inches tall by 5 inches wide by 4 inches deep.Provenance: Property from the Saul Brandman Foundation.
