David's notes: We are not musicians so forgive us if we are not great appraisers of the piano condition. There is a soundboard underneath which might have cracks or splits in it, the board appears to be there but there seems to be thin slits where the boards meet, suggesting cracks. Plays but whether it is out of tune or not is something we cannot ascertain. There are chips in at least two of the keys, small chips in front at the edge. The inside looks clean and untouched. The bottom (underneath) appears to have some small minor chips in the wood construction but nothing that would interfere with the sound. Small scratches in the ebony finish, consistent with use and time.
