Description
Ando Jubei (Japanese, 1876-1956). An antique 19th Century Japanese porcelain vase with cloisonne decoration. Amphora form body with an eggshell white ground decorated with bunches of grapes and grape leaves in delicate cloisonne designs, and a purple, green, and russet colorway. The artist is regarded among the leading lights of the late 19th Century Golden Age of Japanese cloisonne. Artist monogram to underside.
Dimensions: 7.5 X 4.5 X 4.5 in.
Condition: Good overall condition with normal surface wear. Estate fresh to the market.
