Historical Staffordshire plate with a view of “Faulkborn Hall” with Medallions. This is quite a special plate with medallions of Thomas Jefferson, General Lafayette, George Washington and Dewitt Clinton. Then also a vignette of The Entrance to the Erie Canal into the Hudson at Albany. These are quite scarce and desirable when it comes to collecting Historical Staffordshire. This one is in good condition but does have some inner rim wear and some surface wear with utensil marks but still retains a shiny glaze. It measures 8 3/4” in diameter and dates circa 1825.
