STAFFORDSHIRE TRANSFER-PRINTED ANIMAL MOTIF PLATES, LOT OF SIX, each having blue transfer scenes, comprising one Pastoral series example featuring three horses with grapevine and fruit border, one from the Sporting series featuring Two Deer, four examples with auricula floral border including three depicting two cattle in foreground with town in background and one soup plate featuring a horseman crossing an arched bridge with family in foreground. Marks to underside include impressed eagle with "ADAMS / WARRANTED STAFFORDSHIRE" and "O". Francis Dillon, Cobridge; Enoch Wood & Sons, Burslem; William Adams III, Stoke-on-Trent, England. First half 19th century. 10 1/4" D.

Condition
Five undamaged, some having light short scattered scratches from use; three horses example having a T-shaped hairline to back that does not appear to go through to front and an approximately 3" L scratch to front.
