**Originally Listed At $300**

North America, Mexico, ca. 19th century CE. A fine short sword with a lengthy forged-iron blade. The bifacial blade features a shallow fuller on each side, a rounded yet formidable tip, and a reinforcing clamp near the shoulder. The blade tang is sandwiched between a pair of form-fitting bull horn panels that are attached via 3 slender rivets. Smooth patina has formed across the entire tool. Size: 20.1" L x 1.2" W (51.1 cm x 3 cm)

Slight bending to overall form of blade, with chipping, surface darkening, and several stable fissures to horn handle panels, light pitting to blade surfaces, and scattered specks of modern blue pigment on blade. Great patina throughout.
