Vintage 14kt Dark Blue Sapphire Men's Ring, Appx. .70 ctw oval cut, sz. 10.75, 1940's-1960's, unknown maker's mark, Marked 14kt and tested. Weight is appx. 3.53 gr. The sapphire almost looks black but under light, you can see it is dark blue - also, with back lighting also very visible that it is a deep blue. The sapphire is set into a six-sided well on top of the finger that is appx. 9.8mm down the finger with a band that comes up to the stone that has a domed ridge down the middle of the band as it tapers down the finger. It is appx. 8mm wide at top and tapers to 2mm at the back of the finger There is a 1mm diamond set on each side of the band to the side of the stone - opposite sides of the band. It is marked 14kt and tested. weight is appx. 3.53 grams. It has an unknown maker's mark inside the ring. Very good condition with only typical vintage wear. (W31222.14X8 SS6942 J LD 5/5/22).
