Description
This is a fabulous American Brilliant cut glass tray by the J. Hoare Co. It is mounted with an incredible sterling rim decorated with lily pads by Gorham. The glass is cut with deep pillars separated with zipper miters. The sterling is numbered S3160 and dated Ca. 1897. According to the Gorham archives the invoice for this piece was dated Aug. 13, 1897. The "mounted price" was $60.00 which was quite costly for that time.

Glass and sterling are in great condition. No chips or cracks.
