Description
Ca. 1915 AD. One of the variations of the Lionhead sword is the "Jawless" or "Half-lion head" where the lion has no lower jaw. Brass D-guard hilt stamped with inspection marks on the spine, the handle is wrapped with ray skin and wound with double twisted wire, decorated with floral designs and military paraphernalia, crossed cannons on the langet, nickel plated slightly curved blade marked on the rib with inspection marks, metal scabbard with one suspension ring.
