Description
Chinese Swatow style bowl from the Late Ming dynasty (Of the Guangxu Period 1875-1908) with beautiful orange and green decoration over a white porcelain. The bowl depicts several goldfish to the interior with various scenes of 'bowl with gold fish and florals and fungi'. The base of the bowl features a four character seal mark, Stamped: TongZhi Nian Zhi - "TongZhi (1862-74) Period Make". Probably Guangxu period 1875-1908. of the Guangxu period with an applied wax seal mark from the Hong Kong Antique Export Association. 4 3/4" H
