Documentos Relativos a la Línea Divisoria y Mapas Que Determinan Los Límites Del Estado de Coahuila (Texas) con el de Durango y Zacatecas, SALTILLO, MEXICO, 1881, ink engraving on wove paper booklet, "Imprenta del Gobierno, á cargo de Miguel M. Pepi," includes a map "Provincia de Coahuila Map" showing areas of modern day West Texas and North Mexico with parts outlined in red hand color claimed for the Spanish crown extending as far east as San Antonio, Texas; booklet 9" x 6 1/2", map 13 1/8" x 16 15/8". Provenance: Collection of Hubert Hudson, former Texas Senator 1957-1963, Brownsville, Texas. The booklet text showing land ownership, deeds and lineage of Coahuila circa 1785-1881.
Condition
Booklet has ink inscriptions, markings/notations, smudges, foxing, spine deteriorated with losses, toning, stains, losses, bends, tears, holes, loosened pages, apparent repairs with applied supports and indrawing. All wear expected.
