A MEIJI PERIOD JAPANESE EXPORT SILVER REPOUSSÉ BOWL, "BUTTERFLY AND FLOWER BASKET," 1868-1912, with compressed round bowl with rolled mouth over a woven basket textured ground with relief auspicious flower blooms and hoovering butterflies, reverse stamped with purity jungin mark, height: 3", diameter: 8"; total approximate weight: 21.30 ozt.
Condition
Minor surface wear throughout, circular scouring to interior, surface build up, occasional spots and tarnish, small dents to interior, scratches and expected wear. No apparent repairs.
