A RARE MEDAL, PRESENTED TO OFFICERS OF PALMETTO REGIMENT FOR MEXICAN AMERICAN WAR BATTLES OF VERA CRUZ, CONTRERAS, CHURUBUSCO, CHAPULTEPEC AND CARITAS, CIRCA 1850, silver medal presented to Angelo Merlino, 41.9 grams.
