Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Jade Stone. Carved unto a slightly flattened round box, with rounded wide cavetto, correspondence dome lid, raised from rounded sides over a wide cavetto Inner flange circumscribed around the containers lip allows for a perfect fitment on the each rim. The inner carved with imperial dragon which fitted into a carved rosewood covered box with comforting design. The rosewood shows purplish deep brown lustrous patina, with fine feathery grain. The nephrite jade displays pale - creme color, with clean tone and sporadic golden russet, moist milky appearance. The Under - base bears a reign mark, a four cast gilt script characters reign mark, Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
