Description
Pre-Columbian, Valley of Mexico, Teotihuacan, ca. 3rd to 7th century CE. A hollow-built pottery figure who stands upon petite feet, holds both arms to a rounded belly, and peers forward with slender eyes beneath an incised headdress. The rounded posterior and gaping rim show how this figure was likely used as a petite storage vessel. Size: 2.2" W x 3.4" H (5.6 cm x 8.6 cm)
