A GEORGE III IRISH PROVINCIAL FREEDOM BOX FOR THE CITY OF CORK
By William Reynolds, Cork, makers mark only struck to cover and base
The cover chased with arms of the city of Cork, the base engraved 'This box with the freedom of the CITY of CORK was presented by the corporation, of said city to Lorenzo Nickson in the year 1767'with the arms of the recipient engraved within the footrim, diameter 8cm, weight 4oz.
