Item Details

Description

A pair of well marked saddle pommel holsters for Colt Navy revolvers with strong "Main & Winchester / San Francisco" oval cartouche on both sides of the connecting straps. Decorative leather work shows these were most likely made for the civilian market by M&W. Brass muzzle caps are attached with 2 screws, and are 2 - 3/8" long. Shell flaps have a stitched 5 point star and show repair to the surface. The holsters measure 14", the flaps are 12" by 6" wide. The seams are separating and the connecting leather for the flaps is separated, but as a whole they have seen very little use. Both tabs are present but one is missing about half.
