3 pieces of railroad dining car tableware, two consomm� spoons and one ladle, engraved on the handle with CPR in script. Consomme spoons are bottom stamped Elkington Plate and measure 5 1/4". Ladle is bottom stamped International Silver Co. and measures 7 1/2". All show standard signs of use with scratches, minor nicks, and varying tarnish. The ladle has a 1/4" dent on the back near the handle.The purchaser of this lot will be only the second owner beyond the Canadian Pacific Railway. These items were purchased by the family of the consignor directly through their CP Bygones vault auction in 1977. They were the first and until now only private owners of these items. These items have not been passed from collector to collector, and this is the first time they will have changed hands in forty six years.
