Description
A small metal hammer, 4.5 in. long with a 2.5 x 1 in. head, likely 18th century, used in the process of 'knapping' or shaping stone to be used as tools or for flintlock firearms. The head of the hammer is engraved with intricate patterns. Accompanied by a small iron musket ball mold, 6 x 1 in. Both moderately oxidized.
