An antique late 19th-century salt-glazed stoneware pitcher. The piece has cobalt-painted applied decor representing roses and King Gambrinus, a legendary hero and icon of beer and brewing. Presumably a Wingender Pottery NJ production. Embossed mark 4 is on the bottom. Collectible Ceramics And Pottery, Antique Barware, Beer Jugs And Tableware.
