Chinese Yuan Dynasty Blue and White Porcelain Jar. Potted with a shallow body, slight deep, flaring round rim, globular heavy on mid body, raised on flat foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against blue color depicted of flying peacock through flowers bloom foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Blue and white porcelain in Chinese it is called Qing Hua Ci. It is the most important variety of China’s porcelain. It was originated in the Yuan Dynasty. The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark grayfish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim.

Over all in EXCELLENT Condition. Natural imperfection on the medium (porcelain), regardless from any major damages; includes minor scratches. Consider normal due to the ages.
