Potted in brush pot shape, sturdily in cylindrical straight body, thick potted, deep curvature, slight tall and gentle upward to wide flaring opening lip, raised on flat round foot base. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in white base color which contrast against famille rose design color depicted of lotus flowers blooms interspersed foliage and scrolling interlocking tendril. Lotus is one of the most significant flowers in the Chinese culture. It symbolizes the holy seat of Buddha. Because the flower rises from the mud and blooms in exquisite beauty it symbolizes perfection and purity of both the heart and mind.The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue ring lines. Made in The Years Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
