Connecticut hand-made stoneware, four pieces including one "MC Webster & Co. Hartford" batter pitcher, c. 1840-1857, light brown slip glaze, impressed label, typical imperfections and staining consistent with age, 10 1/4" h. x 7 1/2" w. x 8" l., one batter pitcher, 19th C., dark brown slip glaze, impressed "New Haven, CT.", minor scratches, imperfections and staining consistent with age, 10" h. x 6 3/4" w. x 9" l., one small jug, a New Haven; along with a "Swan & States Stonington." small jug, c. 1823-1834, impressed label, multiple imperfections in glaze technique, minor chipping and glaze loss in several spots, 10" h. x 6" w. x 6" l. one "G. Benton & L. Stewart, Hartford", c. 1815-1822, ovoid two handled crock, brown salt glaze with blue highlights near base of handles and front, chips and glaze loss in several spots, imperfections in glaze technique, 12 1/2" h. x 9 1/2" w. x 10 1/2" l.
