Description
STAMPED "J.MILLER", ALEXANDRIA, VIRGINIA OR GEORGETOWN, DC DECORATED STONEWARE JUG, salt-glazed, crude "2" gallon capacity mark, ovoid form with grooved mouth. Brushed cobalt floral decoration below capacity mark, additional cobalt encircling the handles. James Miller (active 1797-1827), Georgetown, DC or Alexandria, VA. 1820-1826. 13 1/2" HOA.
