Quimbaya culture (c. 200 BC-1550 CE)
A round-bottomed pottery vessel with strap handle to one side and stylized molded face to one side of neck. Sold with associated wooden stand.
H: 19 3/4, Dia: 16 in.

Provenance: Private collection, Northern Virginia. The collection was purchased in Bogota, Colombia throughout the early 1980's. Sold with copy of original receipt with importation stamp and signature.

Condition
Old chipping to mouth. Old crack to upper body. One area of old chipping to base of mouth interior. Wear to pigment throughout. Good retention of facial features to neck. Wear commensurate with age.
