Russia Lacquer Boxes: The Zaporzhye Cossacks & Princess Dieow Miniature Painting Ca. 2000, L 8'' 2 pcs | One signed "Yasliebov", other "Fedoskino". 7" x 8 The Zaporzhye Cossacks (originally painted by Ilya Repin c 1880). Signed lower left. "Princess Dieow" by Yasliebov, signed and dated 2000, H 2 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 5 1/2". Made in Russia stamped on bottom. The contemporary Fedoskino painting preserves the typical features of Russian folk art. Provenance: From the Estate of Leon Zielinski.
Condition
Good condition. Boxes are papier mache.
