A Chinese Double Gourd Form Wall Hanging Panel. The wall hanging vase is designed in the shape of a large gourd bottle with a matching cover. It is encased in a reticulated white gilt silver or metal network featuring leafy vines adorned with small gourd motifs. The network is also inset with coral, turquoise, and lapis gemstones. The sides of the vase are embellished with flowing ribbons, each showcasing three carved celadon jade or hardstone pendants. These pendants depict round-faced smiling boys with peaches and other objects. The vase is further adorned with a handle in the form of a bat and lotus. The cover of the vase is similarly decorated.
