Group includes an American white painted corner cabinet with blue painted interior and scalloped shelves (D48.136.10) and a French style fall-front abattant desk with fitted interior, pencil inscription on back "Christmas 1853" (D48.146.4).
Wood,Corner cabinet 7 7/8" tall.Desk 6" x 4 3/4" x 2 3/8"
Deaccessioned from The Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, Rhode Island. Gifts of Mrs. Alonzo Williams to the museum. All proceeds from the collection are being used to further expand and preserve the current collection.

Condition

Wear as expected from age and use, wood checks and minor nicks etc., loss to pull on top drawer of abattant desk, otherwise good condition, please refer to photographs.
