This is a Pre-Columbian Chimu blackware pottery vessel with a four lobed design with a handle at the top of each lobe. Flared spout. Purchased Sotheby's Sale 5937 11/20/1989 Lot 257

From the Upstate New York estate of Marshall and Kay Lee. Marshall was a well known collector of Pre-Columbian pottery and a talented and well-respected book designer in the publishing industry.
6 1/2" tall x 5 1/2" max diameter.
Condition
