Description
A late Victorian silver cigar case, having engine-turned panel surrounding scroll and foliate engraved border to monogram engraving, with scrolled thumb piece opening to top. Hallmarked Brockwell & Son (Henry Titterton Brockwell), London 1893. Height 4.75" (12.2cm), weight 5.15 ozt (160.3 grams).
Condition Report:- Item is in poor condition, showing moderate surface scratches, marks and wear.
- Item shows very dark tarnishing through out and would benefit from a clean.
- Engine turned front and reverse show some compressions
- Definition to engraved detail is rubbed and has lost definition to areas.
- Hinged lid is in good working order, and thumb piece secures lid well.
- Hallmarks are clear and legible.
