A late Victorian silver cigar case, having engine-turned panel surrounding scroll and foliate engraved border to monogram engraving, with scrolled thumb piece opening to top. Hallmarked Brockwell & Son (Henry Titterton Brockwell), London 1893. Height 4.75" (12.2cm), weight 5.15 ozt (160.3 grams).

Condition Report:

Item is in poor condition, showing moderate surface scratches, marks and wear.
Item shows very dark tarnishing through out and would benefit from a clean.
Engine turned front and reverse show some compressions
Definition to engraved detail is rubbed and has lost definition to areas.
Hinged lid is in good working order, and thumb piece secures lid well.
Hallmarks are clear and legible.
