“Synopsis of Rational Philosophy” is a rare 17th-century logic treatise by Anton Itter. Itter based his work on the studies and writings of leading philosophers of his time, all of which was rooted in Aristotelian ethics and morality. One particularly interesting section in this 1669 work is Itters study of “name, word, and speech” – a survey of oration and dictation.
