Pair of Monumental Victorian Cast Iron Garden Urns

fourth quarter 19th century, in the classical taste, decorated with egg-and-dart rims and reeded bowls, supported on fluted, conical bases, raised on pedestals decorated with wreath-form mounts.
h. 51", dia. 35"

Condition

Various losses of garland mounts on bases. Rust and pitting throughout, typical with age and use. Overall solid, no breaks or cracks. Each urn is in three sections, no bolts or fasteners present to attach the bowls to their middle stands.
