FIRST EDITION, FIRST STATE BINDING, FIRST PRINTING with “said Polly” as the caption on p. 231. This novel, published by her husband’s publishing company, was the first volume of the popular “Peppers” series of books. It was also the basis of the 1939 film starring Edith Fellows and Charles Peck, directed by Charles Barton. A very handsome copy.
