CONTINENTAL BRASS REPOUSSE KEROSENE VASE LAMP, cylinder-form font holder with stamped embossed cherubs completely surrounding font in various positions, raised on four short legs, brass drop-in cylinder-form font with stylized scroll pattern to the shoulder, No. 3 collar impressed "G. H. COVELL / 1150 BROADWAY / NEW YORK". Fitted with a period setup comprising a Hink's & Co. No. 3 Duplex burner, impressed with maker's name on deflector and thumbwheel, an opal ball-form shade with multi-colored mustard yellow ground and polychrome griffin decoration in shades of pastel pink and green, brass heat ring. Non-period colorless chimney. Fourth quarter 19th century. 18 1/2" H to top of shade, 8" H to top of collar, 7 1/4" DOA base. Shade 9 1/2" H, 4" D fitter.

Condition
Excellent condition, expected wear to finish. Burner with some minor corrosion, shade undamaged and with normal as-made fitter roughness, heat ring with some light denting, chimney undamaged.
