Model 1832 US FOOT ARTILLERY SWORD; N.P. AMES, 1839: Issued to US Artillery and Infantry until 1870. Cast Brass Pommel with National Eagle, Grip resembling Feathers and Cross Hilt as one piece. Scabbard is Black Leather with Throat (Stud Fastener) and Tip. 25" LOA, Blade 19" long with Three fillers on Each Side. Inspectors Stamp MS, Excellent Condition. One of the Finest Examples I have Seen. Scabbard is in Like New Condition. (1600-2500)
