Central Europe, Ca 200 to 0 BCE, iron sword that was ritualistically bent into a ribbon of steel. This might have been the sword of a vanquished enemy, or the sword of a fallen comrade to accompany him into the afterlife. Originally about 31"L, now 9-1/2" across x 2"W.

Rusted as expected from 2100 years of burial. Interesting to see how time has separated the iron into two bands that were once hand forged into a single length.
