UNCLE TOM'S CABIN, HARRIET BEECHER STOWE, 1892, HOUGHTON, MIFFLIN AND COMPANY, Riverside press, universal edition. Uncle Tom's Cabin is a famous anti-slavery book that has a substantial effect on views of slavery in the 1850s. There is an inscription from a previous owner an endpaper. The book also has a nicely designed green cloth cover of a child holding the title. Cover is dented in one corner, and has light scuffs and stains from wear. Pages are tanned, and smell strongly of vanilla. 273 pages + 6 pages of ads.
