Chinese Qing Dynasty Chenxiang Fragrance Agarwood Brush Pot. Carved in cylindrical body, thick, gently tapered to straight close round mouth rim, with deep concave to input the moabi brush, raised with short round foot base and carved with detail of flower bloom tree with foliage and tendril. The resin-embedded wood is valued for its distinctive fragrance, and one of the most expensive natural raw materials in the world. The agarwood of dark brown colour is surmounted by a knob in the form of dragons. The seal which has exquisite carving is meaningful and magnificent.
