1875 US COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY CAVALRY REVOLVER
1875 US Cavalry Colt Single Action Army .45 caliber revolver. Top of barrel stamped "Colts PT F.A. MFG. Co Hartford of U.S.A." Faint U.S. stamp on left side above trigger. Serial numbers match on barrel, frame, trigger guard, butt, and cylinder. Loading gate number 366. Trigger guard and cylinder stamped with Inspector mark C for A.P. Casey. Blade front sight. V notch rear sight. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Wood grips with 18 notches. July 2023 John Kopec letter stating: "It is the opinion of this writer that the unique barrel address applied to this revolver is a genuine Colt Factory marking; that it was experimental in nature, and that this address has not to-date been identified as being ever applied to any other Colt revolver." Caliber / Gauge: 45 Colt | Barrel Length: 7.5"| Serial Number: 16675

Condition
Barrel: Extensive finish loss. Mottled brown patina. Traces of original bluing on butt-strap and on barrel under ejector. Small dents on bottom of barrel. Bore: Moderate wear with fair rifling and light oxidation. Frame: Extensive finish loss. Mottled brown patina. Replaced trigger screw and hammer screw. Grips: Light finish loss. Notches cut in bottom of grips. Mechanically good.
