English George II Giltwood And Gesso Mirror, C. 1730, H 55" W 28 | The Mirror Offers A Cartouche And Shield Pediment With Acanthus Leaf And Flower Forms. The Frieze Depicting Shells, Acanthus Leaf, And Ribbon Garland Motifs. The Side Edges Are Adorned With Gadrooned And Reeded Edges, Terminating With Rosettes And A Heraldic Lion's Head. Circa 1730. Provenance: John Keil, London, England, 1990; Acquired directly from above by a Prominent Collector, Provencal Road, Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan

The mirror has been replaced.
