Pre-Columbian, West Mexico, Jalisco, ca. 300 BCE to 300 CE; Nayarit, ca. 300 to 600 CE; Ecuador, ca. 100 to 1000 CE. A collection of 3 ancient Mesoamerican / Pre-Columbian pottery pieces. The seated pottery figure and spherical pot with the narrow spout come from west Mexican Shaft tomb cultures. Remains of red and white pigment are visible across the Jalisco figure, and linear patterning encircles the nubs on the Nayarit pot.
