Description
A World War II cast brass paper knife or letter opener. The figurative handle represents a profile of a Jewish man. The blade is engraved with a Magen David and inscription Ghetto Warsaw 1941. Engraved on the verso side, Szpilman. The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of the Nazi ghettos during World War II and the Holocaust. It was established in November 1940 and demolished in May 1943.
