Erte' Bronze Sculpture "Prisoner of Love" Limited Edition #129/250. Erte' (Romain de Tirtoff) (1892-1990) was a Russian/French artist. Fabulous 20th Century Art Deco bronze depicts a beautiful young woman in long stockings chained to a classical column. She is being overlooked by a kneeling figure of a cupid with bow and arrow. Signed on the base by Erte' stamped on back of base 129/250 dated 1980 with Meisner foundry mark RPK Int. Corp. The height is 15.5" x 12.5" wide and 4" deep. The weight is 17 lbs.
