Winslow Homer (American, 1836-1910), Marblehead, Mass Coastal Seascape, Watercolor on paper laid down to a cardboard back, Signed Homer lower right, image-12 3/4" x 18 1/4", Sheet size-13 3/4" x 18 1/4". Good Condition. The painting was loaned to and exhibited by the Norton Museum of Art, West Palm Beach in 1966-67 and comes with the original loan document from the Norton Gallery and School of Art, dated November, 15, 1966 and two photographs of the painting in the Collector's Guild showcase at the Norton. Additionally, there is a calling card from Mr. Philip Diotallevi from Wildenstein & Co. Inc, 19 East 64th Street. New York, and a hand written in provenance of exhibition history of the watercolor painting. Unframed. Provenance: Mortimore Howell Cobb, Palm Beach, Florida (1904-1986), the oldest living survivor of the Titanic, Sold for the Trust of June C. Underhill-Cobb, Atlantis, Florida.
