After Rembrandt Van Rijn (Dutch, 1606-1669), Christ Healing the Sick, chromolithograph on laid paper with watermarks, image-10 7/8" x 15 3/8", with margins, sheet-13" x 17 1/2", hinged to a mat board, has tears and losses to paper in margins, toned with some soiling. Note: This image by Rembrandt is also known as the 100 Guilder Print, one of Rembrandt's most famous prints. Accompanied with an extensive archive of letters and hand written research related to the print. Provenance: Mortimore Howell Cobb, Palm Beach, Florida (1904-1986), the oldest living survivor of the Titanic, Sold for the Trust of June C. Underhill-Cobb, Atlantis, Florida.
