Item/Description: Early Civil War era framed photograph of Lieutenant Augustin N. Parsons, Battery A, First New Jersey Light Artillery. "Lt. A. N. Parsons / 1st NJ Lt. Artillery / Batt. 'A' Gettysburg / July 1,2,3, 1863". (Memorial, Post-Mortem, Tintype, Daguerreotype, Ambrotype, Albumen Print, Union, Confederate)
Battle of Gettysburg: The battery was commanded by Lieutenant Augustin N. Parsons. It brought to the field 116 men and was armed with six 10-pounder Parrott Rifles. The battery lost two men killed and seven wounded.

Condition: Photo shows age and discoloration. Gilt frame show signs of wear and scratches.
