A Thomas Cooke & Sons 2 ¾-inch Brass Transit Telescope, English, mid 19th century, the tube signed T. Cooke & Sons, York, tube mounted in a trunnion, with vertical circle of degrees to one side, with silver scale and Verniers, and two magnifiers, complete with two spirit levels mounted at right angles, with small oil illuminate, on refurbished mahogany stand, Tube 31in (78cm) long 22in (56cm) high overall Footnotes: Provenance: Property from the Ray Wilkinson collection.
