There are two compartments: the top contains two 47 in. conducting cords with tips, two tube hand electrodes, and one insulating handle.The bottom compartment contains three holes to place the conducting cords in to obtain different currents of electricity from the mildest currents to ‘a power that few can endure. The dry cell battery is also stored in the bottom. The Home Medical Apparatus was used by physicians in their offices and when they traveled to patients' homes during the late 19th and early 20th century.
